Business class flights to Beijing from Seattle, Chicago and Toronto will soon be available on Hainan Airlines’ Boeing 787 Dreamliner. China based Hainan, the fourth largest airline in the country, took delivery of its first Dreamliner aircraft in July 2013.
Hainan Airlines’ Dreamliner features 36 full flat-bed business class seats in a 2-2-2 configuration. All business class seats will have 15-inch touch screen IFE displays, a power outlet and a USB port.
By flying on Hainan’s new Dreamliners, business class travelers will enjoy the comforts of the Dreamliner’s enhanced humidity, temperature control and cabin pressure systems. Additionally, the airplane is so quiet that you can actually talk to the person sitting next to you.
The airline plans to use its Dreamliners to expand its flights between China and North America with additional frequencies on the Beijing-Seattle, Beijing-Toronto and Beijing-Chicago routes as well as for flights on new routes within the United States.
The airline’s first Dreamliner will be used for domestic flights between Beijing and Haikou on Hainan Island in southern China.
Hainan Airlines has ordered a total of 10 Dreamliners.
