London’s Heathrow Airport released its first ever detailed airport food guide ahead of the 2013 summer travel season.
The guide, titled Food on the Fly, provides a comprehensive overview of dining options at Heathrow. It contains reviews of the 73 bars, cafes and restaurants at the airport and features specially formulated “top five” lists and a breakdown of the dining options by terminal.
The guide also offers tips about the type of foods to eat or avoid before flying.
The food guide has been prepared after detailed study of the food and beverage options at the airport by two of the UK’s most well known food experts, John Torode and Gregg Wallace.
10,000 copies of Food on the Fly will be distributed to passengers in the coming months. A digital version of the guide is also available.
