Good news for travelers arriving late or departing very early at the Jorge Chavez International Airport, the main airport for Lima, Peru’s capital city. InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG) announced in September 2013 the airport will soon have a new on-site hotel.
The new Holiday Inn Lima Airport Hotel, an eight-story, 179-room facility, will be directly connected to the airport. It will feature sound insulation to provide relief from airport noise, restaurants offering room service and a swimming pool.
The operation and interiors of the new hotel will provide quality service and consistent standards, in accordance with the Holiday Inn Brand Family’s $1 billion global brand relaunch.
The $24 million hotel will be developed and managed by Lima’s Pinasco family, who also own the Crowne Plaza Lima hotel. The Holiday Inn brand is part of the InterContinental Hotels Group.
IHG has more than 75 hotels in Central and South America and the Caribbean including 44 Holiday Inn and Holiday Inn Express hotels.
