Icelandair will launch flights between Newark’s Liberty International Airport (EWR) and Keflavík International Airport, Reykjavik from October 28. The flights will operate four times per week – on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays.
Icelandair already operates flights from New York’s JFK Airport to Reykjavik. Newark’s Liberty is the airline’s 11th destination in North America.
Icelandair’s services in North America comprise round-the-year flights from Boston, Seattle, Denver, Toronto and seasonal flights from Minneapolis-St. Paul, Orlando Sanford, Halifax, and Anchorage (starting from May 15). Travelers can connect in Reykjavik to non-stop flights to 23 locations in Europe, including Madrid, London, Paris, St. Petersburg, Copenhagen and Stockholm.
