Icelandair plans to begin year-round, four times each week service from Toronto’s Pearson International Airport beginning March 8, 2013. The airline operated a seasonal (summer) service from Toronto in previous years.
Travelers will be able to book flights to over 20 destinations in Europe and include a no-charge stopover in Iceland. All Icelandair flights departing from North America connect at the airline’s hub in Reykjavik to an increasing number of European cities.
Toronto will be Icelandair’s fifth year-round destination in North America after Boston, Denver, New York (JFK) and Seattle. The airline also operates seasonal services from Halifax, Minneapolis/St. Paul, Orlando and Washington, DC (IAD) and plans to add Anchorage (Alaska) to its network in 2013.
