Icelandair will increase its flights between Iceland’s capital Reykjavik and Denver to daily from six per week at present in its 2014 summer schedule.
The flights between Denver International Airport and Keflavik International Airport in Reykjavik will be increased from June 2014. The daily flights will operate through September 10, 2014.
Icelandair plans to add a total of 17 flights across its network, including Edmonton and Vancouver in Canada, and Geneva.
In the US, Icelandair flies to Reykjavik year-round from Boston, New York (JFK and Newark), Seattle, Denver and Toronto and operates seasonal flights from Washington, D.C., Minneapolis-St. Paul, Orlando Sanford and Anchorage.
The airline recently also announced plans for the introduction of WiFi Internet access on its North American flights from summer 2014.
Connections to over 20 destinations in Scandinavia, the UK and Europe are available through Reykjavik.
