Japan Airlines (JAL) will begin offering a new shochu (Japanese distilled alcoholic beverage) line-up in its First Class, Business Class and Premium Economy cabins on international routes from September 1.
First Class passengers will will be treated with “Hyakunen no Kodoku” shochu, which is distilled from barley and has a barley fragrance.
“Tomi no Hozan” shochu, served in Business Class and Premium Economy, is made from sweet potato and is slightly sweet with a flavor of citrus fruit.
“Naka Naka”, also to be served in Business Class, has the sweetness of barley with a roasted flavor.
The new shochu drinks will be available in all JAL international flights including those between Japan and Los Angeles, Chicago and New York.
