Japan Airlines will launch new in-flight meal services in collaboration with star chefs and popular restaurants on its flights operating to and from Honolulu in September.
The airline will offer a new in-flight meal service from JAL’s flying restaurant (JAL BEDD-SKY AUBERGE) on its Honolulu routes beginning on September 1, 2013.
This includes a special “BEDD for Resort” menu in business class featuring seasonal autumn salmon with ginger-fried pork (Japanese menu) and Japanese beef fillet steak with a special perigueux sauce (Western menu) by star chef Chikara Yamada.
JAL will also offer a “Ore-no Kinaishoku for Resort” menu in Economy class on the Honolulu routes in collaboration with Ore-no French and Ore-no Italian Japanese restaurants.
A new breakfast menu – “Kua ‘Aina for Resort” – developed in collaboration with the Kua ‘Aina restaurant chain, will be introduced on the Tokyo (Haneda) to Honolulu flights.
