JetBlue has announced that Detroit will become its 85th destination with the launch of three non-stop daily flights from Boston Logan Airport beginning on March 10, 2014.

All the three daily flights on the Boston to Detroit route will be operated by 100-seat Embraer 190 aircraft. Detroit will be JetBlue’s 51st non-stop destination from Boston.

The flights to Boston will allow travelers from Detroit to connect internationally through JetBlue partner Emirates. Emirates will begin nonstop flights from Boston to Dubai on the same day that JetBlue’s Detroit to Boston flights begin.

Detroit is home to large Arab-American and Indian populations, making JetBlue’s partnership with Emirates particularly useful to a large number of Detroit travelers.
