JetBlue launched Family Pooling, a program that allows families and small groups to share all or some of their JetBlue TrueBlue frequent flier points in a group account – without any of the point transfer fees and charges that other airline mileage programs charge.
JetBlue is the only US carrier to offer a no-fee group point pooling option.
Customers can join the program by visiting jetblue.com/familypooling to set up their family and select a Head of Household.
Families can include up to 2 adults and up to 5 children under the age of 21. The members may include family members, same sex partners and even a couple of friends.
Family members can opt to have 10 to 100 percent of their TrueBlue points pooled into the group account. The Head of Household can redeem points from the family account for any family member’s travel.
JetBlue celebrated the launch of the program with a Family Pooling Carnival in Terminal 5 of New York’s JFK Airport.
