JetBlue announced in March 2013 a one-way codeshare agreement with Qatar Airways, linking the 2 airlines’ networks at New York’s JFK and Washington Dulles International (IAD) airports.
The arrangement will make Qatar Airways flights available from 26 JetBlue operated destinations including Denver, Fort Lauderdale, New Orleans, Phoenix, Salt Lake City, Boston, Syracuse and Buffalo.
The code-share agreement gives JetBlue customers access to Qatar Airways’ extensive network in the Middle East, Africa and Asia Pacific. Qatar currently flies to destinations including Bangkok, Kuala Lumpur, Islamabad, Nairobi and Dar es Salaam through Qatar’s hub in Doha.
Qatar is routinely awarded top honors for its business class cabins and service.
Since 2011, the 2 airlines have had an interlining arrangement offering single-combined tickets, one-stop check-in and baggage transfer to travelers flying on both airlines.
