Korean Air plans to add nine new aircraft to its fleet in 2013. The new aircraft will be two Airbus A380s, one Airbus A330-200, two Boeing 777-300ERs, two Boeing 737-900ERs, one Boeing 747-8F and one Boeing 777F. The two A380s will be inducted in July and October. Korean Air already operates five A380s on long haul routes.
The airline plans to induct a total of 53 aircraft including five Boeing 747-8is, ten Boeing 787-9s and ten Boembardier CS 300s by 2018. Korean Air has a total of 148 aircraft at present.
