LATAM Airlines Group, Latin America’s largest airline group, has opened a dedicated VIP lounge at Miami International Airport for customers of the group’s airlines (LAN Airlines and TAM Airlines) as well as partner airlines such as Lufthansa and SWISS.
Lounge amenities include showers, complimentary WiFi Internet access, network access points and a business center featuring PCs, Macs and laser printers.
Cable television and a selection of complimentary international magazines and newspapers are also provided to guests.
The 60,000 square foot lounge offers South American inspired finger foods selected by Hugo Pantano, LAN’s executive chef, accompanied by wine and champagne selected by sommelier Hector Vergara.
The lounge will be open to all LANPASS Premium Silver and Comodoro card holders, TAM Fidelidade Red and Black card holders, LAN Airlines passengers traveling with premium business class tickets, TAM Airlines passengers with first class or business class tickets.
Avianca, Lufthansa and Swiss Air passengers holding business class tickets, Priority Pass members and oneworld Emerald or Sapphire card holders will also be able to access the lounge.
Earlier this month, LATAM opened a VIP Lounge at El Dorado Airport in Bogota, Colombia. Additional lounges are in the works at Comodoro Arturo Merino Benitez Airport in Santiago, Chile, Ezeiza International Airport in Buenos Aires, and Sao Paulo-Guarulhos International Airport in Sao Paulo, Brazil.
