London’s Gatwick Airport, the second busiest airport for the UK capital, launched its updated South Terminal after a nearly $32 million renovation in July 2013.
As part of the revamp, the south Terminal departure lounge has been converted into a premium shopping space featuring 10 new and refreshed stores.
These include luxury leather goods specialist Aspinal of London and jeweler Ernest Jones as well as stores by Kurt Geiger, Hugo Boss, Lacoste and Case.
Harrods, the famous London department store, will also open a 6,500 square foot fashion and accessories focused department store on August 1, 2013.
Gatwick Airport also plans to open 12 more stores at the South Terminal later in 2013.
