Gatwick North Terminal, home of British Airways at London’s Gatwick Airport, is celebrating 25 years of operation. The terminal, which opened on March 22, 1988, has served nearly 100 million British airways passengers so far and continues to be a key hub of the airline.
BA also opened an extension to the North Terminal in 2011 featuring a number of modern facilities. The airline’s latest new flights to Gatwick include a three times weekly flight from Las Vegas and flights from Colombo (Sri Lanka), Tenerife and Lanzarote (Spain).
BA has also recently introduced “hand luggage only” lower fare option on many Gatwick flights.
