London’s newest airport, Southend Airport, has been named as the best airport for customer service in a customer satisfaction survey by low-cost European airline easyJet. The survey of over 26,000 easyJet customers ranked over 100 European airports in the airline’s network on the basis of criteria including check-in process, boarding procedures, overall satisfaction with the airport and friendliness of the airport staff.
Southend Airport is located about 53 km from central London and is connected to the city through a 45-minute journey-time train service.
