The newly launched Los Angeles-based Fly The Dream flight simulation facility offers realistic F-16 simulation for up to seven people at a time.
The facility has 7 state of the art hi-fidelity F-16 simulators with 180° field of view Data Entry Display (DED), heads-up display (HUD), multi-function displays (MFD), and 12 monitors with over 100 functions for a realistic and immersive F-16 simulation.
The simulators feature displays and controls designed to replicate their actual F-16 counterparts. This includes an ejector seat and the F-16 Block 52 controller as well.
The facility enables up to seven people to jointly participate in a customized mission, flying a squadron of 7 simulated F-16s.
Each flying session begins with a short technical briefing where all cockpit controls are explained in layman’s terms. Hands-on, in-flight assistance is also offered throughout the simulated mission.
Fly The Dream is located on Beverly Boulevard in Los Angeles; the cost of a 90 minute flight session is currently $89.
