Germany’s largest airline, Lufthansa, has upgraded the in-flight experience for its premium passengers from May 1 with the introduction of creative menus, new tableware and various other service additions.
First class guests on-board flights from Germany are now offered a new meal program dubbed “Culinary Delights.” This includes menus prepared by Michelin-starred chefs, an exclusive caviar service as a separate course, a variety of canapés as appetizers and high-quality tableware with new additions such as an small bowl with olive oil and glass carafes for fresh water.
Lufthansa business class passengers on all routes are now offered more fresh food options and a greater variety of dishes, pastries and beverages. This includes new varieties of tea, fresh milk for tea and coffee, a wider selection of juices as well as Weißbier (wheat beer) and Altbier (dark beer). New cutlery and new additions to the china dishware have also been introduced.
Other additions include new wine glasses, cloth napkins and new hygiene/personal-care products.
