Kids can often be a handful for parents, especially during long-haul flights. A new web-based service, Nanny in the Clouds, enables parents flying with young children to check if a registered nanny (or nannies) will be traveling on their flight.
Parents can then negotiate a fee for in-flight childcare services by the nanny.
To use the service, parents first register on the company’s website and pay a $10 fee. They can then either enter their exact flight information or a city pair and dates of travel to search if any registered childcare providers are booked to fly at the same time.
If a match is found, parents are given access to the nanny’s contact details and the two parties are free to negotiate the hourly payment rate and other details among themselves.
