The renovated Tom Bradley International Terminal at Los Angeles International airport, scheduled to open next month, will see a number of new lounges.
Star Alliance will be one of the first to open a lounge at the terminal. The lounge, operated by Air New Zealand, will serve passengers of the Star Alliance member airlines as well as Star Alliance Gold status holders.
Emirates, Qantas and Korean Air also plan to open lounges at the new terminal. The Qantas lounge will be open to other oneworld members while the Korean Air lounge will be shared by other SkyTeam member airlines.
A shared lounge is also planned for joint use by China Airlines, EVA Air, Fiji Airways, Philippine Airlines, EL AL, Air Tahiti and Trans Aero.
