Philippine Airlines (PAL) has decided to discontinue its Manila-Vancouver-Las Vegas service in January 2013 because of poor passenger numbers. It will launch a new non-stop service to Toronto. The airline currently operates five flights a week on the Manila-Vancouver-Vegas route. The thrice-weekly new Manila-Toronto flights will use Boeing 777-300ER aircraft and will be launched on November 30. PAL also operates a daily Manila-Vancouver-Toronto service at present which will have a reduced frequency of four times a week after the launch of non-stop service to Toronto.
