Australian airline Qantas plans to discontinue its daily flights to Frankfurt, Germany in April next year. The decision is being seen as a cost-cutting measure as the Frankfurt flights are believed to be running at loss. Travelers flying to Frankfurt from Australia will either have to fly from London, a route that will still be covered by Qantas, or benefit from Qantas’ new partnership with Emirates by flying to Dubai and transferring to Emirates’ twice-daily flights to Frankfurt.
