Australian airline Qantas will discontinue all its codeshare flights with Cathay Pacific and Air France once its alliance with Emirates commences in April 2013. Qantas currently has codeshare arrangement with Cathay Pacific flights from Hong Kong to Rome and Air France flights from Hong Kong and Singapore to Paris. Earlier, Qantas also announced ending its joint venture with British Airways next year. A Qantas spokesperson stated that the airline will continue codeshare flights with Finnair to Helsinki from Singapore and Bangkok, as Helsinki is not a destination covered by Emirates.
