Australian carrier, Qantas Airways, is resuming its flights to the Gold Coast after a gap of five years. The airline will resume the flights beginning October 28 and initially have three flights a day between Sydney and Gold Coast Airport. Qantas Domestic CEO, Lyell Strambi, attributes the resumption of flights – a route Qantas turned over to its low cost carrier Jetstar – to the Gold Coast’s growing economy and conference market.
