Qatar Airways, one of the three major Gulf carriers, will launch flights between its hub in Doha (Qatar) and the Ethiopian capital, Addis Ababa, in September 2013.
The airline will operate three return flights a week between Doha and Addis Ababa beginning on September 18.
The flights well be operated using an Airbus A320 aircraft in a two-class configuration with 132 seats in Economy and 12 seats in Business Class.
Addis Ababa will be the airline’s 20th destination in Africa. Qatar Airways flies to many major cities in North, East, West and Sub-Saharan Africa including Benghazi (Libya), Entebbe (Uganda), Kigali (Rwanda), Tripoli (Libya), Kilimanjaro (Tanzania) and Maputo (Mozambique).
