Qatar Airways will launch Boeing 787 Dreamliner flights between Doha, Qatar and the Indian cities of New Delhi and Bangalore beginning on September 1, 2013.
Travelers from the US can connect to the Dreamliner flights to India on one of Qatar’s daily non-stop flights from Houston, O’Hare, Dulles and JFK Airports to Doha.
Qatar Airways 787s feature 254 seats in a two-class – Business and Economy – configuration. Business Class offers a 1–2–1 layout with 22 seats while Economy has a 232-seat capacity in a 3–3–3 layout. All seats in Business Class are convertible to fully flat beds
The aircraft also offers in-flight WiFi Internet connectivity as well as a mobile texting service.
Qatar Airways currently operates daily flights from Doha to the Indian cities of Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Amritsar, Goa, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Kozhikode, Trivandrum, Chennai and Bangalore. It operates a total of 11 flights a week from Cochin and double daily flights from Delhi.
