Singapore based low-cost airline Scoot has launched ScooTV, an in-flight entertainment system with Wifi streaming of video content (movies/TV shows) to passengers’ laptops and tablets on all its flights.
Passengers wishing to use the service have to download a free plugin for their laptops or Android tablets. iPad users have to download the free Gogo Video Plugin app before boarding.
Business class travelers can access the service for free while those in economy have to pay $12 to use it. The airline claims to be the first airline in Asia to offer such an in-flight entertainment option.
