Singapore’s Changi Airport will get a new super-sized terminal capable of handling nearly 50 million passengers annually.
Singapore’s government unveiled plans for the new terminal, Terminal 5, which is expected to open sometime in the next decade. T5 will be the largest terminal at the airport. The new Terminal 4 and 5 buildings will more than double the airport’s 2013 capacity.
Construction is already underway on Terminal 4, Changi Airport’s latest terminal that is scheduled to open in 2017.
