Airline alliance SkyTeam is implementing a number of customer experience initiatives beginning at its major hubs – Amsterdam, Atlanta, Rome, Charles de Gaulle (CDG) in Paris, Mexico City, Seoul, Beijing, Guangzhou and Shanghai.
SkyTeam has announced that it plans to extend its SkyPriority program for premium travelers to all of its nearly 1,000 global destinations by the end of 2013. It is also introducing dedicated SkyPriority security lanes, dedicated SkyPriority call centers and dedicated SkyPriority baggage desks at arrival halls.
The alliance is also focusing on co-location of airport facilities for a better customer experience and greater efficiency. This includes the opening of 3 co-branded SkyTeam lounges at Istanbul (in June), Sydney (by 2013-end) and Beijing (early 2014).
SkyTeam includes 20 member airlines including Delta, KLM, Air France and Korean Air.
