Southwest Airlines, the largest US domestic air carrier, will increase its flights between New York’s LaGuardia Airport and San Diego Airport (CA) in Summer 2014.
The airline will launch six additional flights from LaGuardia beginning May 11. These include two roundtrip flights between LaGuardia and Houston/Hobby (for a total of four daily), two additional flights between LaGuardia and Chicago/Midway (for a total of eight daily), one additional flight between LaGuardia and Nashville ( for a total of three daily) and one additional flight between LaGuardia and Akron/Canton (total three daily).
Southwest will also launch non-stop flights to four new destinations from San Diego in its summer 2014 schedule which will come into effect on June 8. This includes a daily return flight from San Diego to New Orleans (beginning April 8), one daily round-trip flight to Orlando, two daily nonstop flights to Portland, Oregon, and three daily nonstop flights to Seattle/Tacoma.
