Star Alliance has released the first official renderings of its upcoming lounge at the Tom Bradley International Terminal at Los Angeles International Airport (LAX).
The lounge, designed by architectural firm Gensler, is inspired by “a contemporary interpretation of modernist L.A. architecture of the 1950s and 1960s” and is scheduled to open later this year.

A distinguishing feature of the LAX Star Alliance lounge will be the open air terrace where passengers can relax beside a fireplace or an artistic water wall while enjoying views of the Hollywood hills.
The lounge will have a separate exclusive area for First Class passengers in addition to the normal lounge space for Business Class and Star Alliance Gold passengers.
Star Alliance member Air New Zealand will manage the lounge. It will be available to passengers on the eight other Star Alliance airlines that operate out of the Tom Bradley Terminal – All Nippon Airways (ANA), Asiana, EVA Air, Lufthansa, Singapore Airlines, SWISS, THAI and Turkish Airlines.
