Sleeping in an aircraft is generally a challenging experience, especially in coach class. For better in-flight sleep, travelers can try modifying their sleeping schedule a few days before their flight according to their destination’s timezone so that they do not have much trouble adjusting once they arrive.
Travelers should also remember to pack comfortable sleeping clothes, eat melatonin rich foods, try to choose flight times that coincide with their sleeping hours, use eye masks and choose window seats for minimal disturbance. Caffeine and alcohol must be consumed in moderation, if at all.
