easyJet, the UK’s largest airline, has signed a Commercial Agreement with Transaero Airlines, the second largest airline in Russia, for flights between Moscow Domodedovo Airport and London Gatwick Airport.
The arrangement with easyJet will complement Transaero’s own flights between Moscow Vnukovo airport and London Heathrow airport.
Under the agreement, Transaero will be able to offer seats on easyJet flights on the Moscow Domodedovo – London Gatwick route beginning October 27. This will provide Transaero passengers connections to London Gatwick airport from the major Transaero hub at Moscow Domodedovo airport. From Gatwick, travelers will be able to easily reach London or connect to one of easyJet’s flights to many other European destinations.
easyJet currently operates two daily flights between Moscow Domodedovo and London Gatwick airports using Airbus aircraft. London Gatwick is one of easyJet’s major hubs.
