The US Transport and Security Administration (TSA) has launched its official account on the popular image-sharing social network, Instagram, to showcase some of the banned items it confiscates from passengers at airports across the country.
The TSA also displays the images of select confiscated items on its blog – TSA Blog.
The items selected for display on the blog as well as on Instagram are usually the most striking among the confiscated goods. These range from guns, bullets and knives to inert hand grenades and claymore mines.
TSA’s Instagram account has already attracted over 41,000 followers since its launch about a month ago.
