Turkish flag carrier, Turkish Airlines, will launch flights to the Nepalese capital, Kathmandu, from its Istanbul hub.
Turkish Airlines’ flights between Istanbul Ataturk Airport and Kathmandu’s Tribhuvan International Airport will commence from September 1, 2013. The flights will be operated using Airbus A330-200 aircraft.
In keeping with the airline’s rapid expansion, Kathmandu will be the 29th destination it serves in East Asia. Also, Nepal will be the 104th country on Turkish airlines network and Kathmandu will be the 238th destination served by the airline.
The Istanbul-Kathmandu round trip flights will operate 4 times a week on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Sundays from Istanbul, and Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays from Kathmandu.
