United Airlines launched weekly non-stop flights to the eastern Caribbean island of St. Lucia from its hub at Newark Liberty International Airport on July 13, 2013.
The St. Lucia-Newark flights will be operated using Boeing 737-800 aircraft. The flights will offer 16 business class seats, 48 United Economy Plus extra-legroom seats and 90 economy class seats.
The flights will depart Newark Liberty (EWR) each Saturday at 8:55 a.m. local time and arrive at Hewanorra International Airport (UVF) in St. Lucia at 1:48 p.m. local time. The return flight will depart St. Lucia on Saturday at 2:38 p.m. and arrive in Newark at 7:33 p.m.
St. Lucia is United’s 17th destination in the Caribbean. United’s other destinations in the Caribbean include Aruba, Bonaire, Barbados, and St. Maarten.
