Due to upgrading its Terminal 7 at New York’s JFK Airport with new facilities and more modern equipment installations, British Airways has made some temporary changes. The renovation project includes an additional security channel, modernized escalators, new seats and carpets, better lighting, renovated restrooms and replacement of old jetbridges – all of which will be great when complete.
Due to the replacement of a jetbridge, BA flight 116 (from JFK to London Heathrow) will temporarily shift its operation from Terminal 7 and depart from Terminal 8 (American Airlines) from March 4 to March 25. The flights will resume operation from Terminal 7 on March 26.
First and Gold Executive Club card customers of this flight will be able to use American Airlines’ Flagship lounge in Terminal 8 concourse B while the Club World, Silver and qualifying oneworld passengers will have access to the American Airlines Admiral’s Club lounges in Terminal 8 concourse B and C while the flight is operating from American’s terminal.
