Air travelers, especially middle-seat economy class travelers, on long-haul flights have to deal with the problem of sleeping while sitting upright in the tight confines of their seat – and avoiding resting on the adjacent passengers’ shoulders. A new bizarre looking device, the UpRight Sleeper, created by a US inventor aims at solving this by providing a padded support frame for your chin while sleeping.
The device was available for sale online for $39.99 (without cover) and $46.99 (with cover). Its awkward look may have been a bit too much for travelers – it seems, when we checked on August 29, 2015, the company is no longer in business.
