US Airways has begun to introduce a number of in-flight amenities and enhancements on its international flights for its busy spring and summer season.
The airline will offer complimentary headsets and complimentary wine with the main meal for Economy passengers on flights to and from Europe, the Middle East and South America from May 1, 2013.
Earlier in April, US Airways expanded its premium pre-ordered chilled meal option, DineFresh, on its trans-Atlantic flights to Philadelphia and Charlotte.
It also launched a continental-style breakfast-on-the-go for its First Class passengers from April 1. The breakfast includes includes a yogurt smoothie, croissant, almond butter, jam and a mint on overnight long-haul flights.
In July, new amenity kits will be launched in its international business class (Envoy). The kits, designed by New York based Red Flower, will consist of various “delicately scented botanical products” in a soft jute-lined bag.
