Virgin Australia is expanding its services to 20 more cities through codeshare agreements with Singapore Airlines and its regional subsidiary SilkAir. Virgin Australia’s codeshare flights in partnership with Singapore Airlines include flights from Singapore to Ahmedabad, Amsterdam, Bangalore, Chennai, Copenhagen, Delhi, Denpasar, Jakarta, Kolkata, London, Mumbai, Munich, Manchester, Paris and Zurich. The SilkAir codeshare flights cover Bangalore, Chennai, Coimbatore, Hyderabad, Kochi, Kolkata and Thiruvananthapuram.
The new flights to European destinations are only available to Virgin Australia’s passengers flying from Perth and Darwin. This is to prevent any duplication of European services with Virgin Australia’s partner, Etihad.
