Virgin Australia will begin exclusively using Airbus A330 aircraft on its Melbourne-Perth flights later this month. The A330 craft will replace older Boeing 737-800 aircraft. This is a good news for business travelers as the new aircraft has lie-flat seats with a 60-inch pitch compared to the reclining seats with a 38-inch pitch of the older aircraft. The A330 also has 100 more seats per aircraft thus greatly boosting flight capacity.
