Virgin Atlantic and Delta plan to operate as many as 32 flights per day between the US and the UK beginning next spring.
The US Department of Transportation (DOT) recently approved the carriers’ joint venture by granting anti-trust immunity for flights between North America and the UK.
Delta and Virgin Atlantic, will operate 7 daily non-stop flights on the lucrative New York JFK to London Heathrow route from March 30. This includes departures every 30 minutes during the early evening hours and then every hour until 10:30 pm.
Delta and Virgin Atlantic will operate the following New York-JFK-London Heathrow schedule on March 30, 2014:

The new JFK-Heathrow schedule will be available for sale from October 5, 2013.
The JFK flights will be complemented by two daily flights between Newark airport and London Heathrow.
Other daily Delta/Virgin flights will include flights to London Heathrow from Los Angeles, San Francisco, Atlanta and Washington.
