Long security check-up lines, general overcrowding and lengthy walking distances are the biggest factors contributing to passenger stress at airports. A recent survey, based on responses by 1,500 travelers, has ranked US airports according to the level of stress experienced by passengers. The survey by KRC Research found Las Vegas McCarran International Airport, Boston Logan International Airport and Orlando International Airport to be the least stressful US airports.
Not surprisingly, Chicago O’Hare International Airport, Los Angeles International Airport and New York’s John F. Kennedy International Airport were found to be most stressful airports by the survey.
